Back to full time employment...

I officially started back to work on Monday. It happened to be an INSET day (teacher training) so in one way I got away easy, but in another way not so much. After nine months of keeping myself busy looking after Caelan, cooking and cleaning etc to sit down for a whole day and listen was very difficult! I didn't find leaving Caelan too bad, but I think this was because I have done a few 'Keep in Touch' days off and on.

Tuesday, on the other hand, was a completely different story! I nearly cried the whole morning and when a colleague asked how I was, I broke down in tears! When I got home, Caelan was in Tigger and when he saw me he started jumping up and down and screaming. I think he was happy to see me, what an amazing feeling!

Today wasn't so bad, so we'll see what tomorrow brings... I haven't been calling Mom too much, checking up on them ;-) By the sounds of it, they are having a great time and I am so grateful that he is able to spend this time with his Grammy! I think Grammy is grateful too...

Caelan is getting a lot more steady on his feet, and is practising standing whenever he can! I took a few photos today...

Caelan is also in his 'big boy car seat'... It must be comfy, he went straight to sleep after a few cheeky smiles!

This being back to work business is cutting into my photography time! I need to get a few good photos of Caelan for his 8 months album! Only 2 more days until the weekend so hopefully I can get a few then... Bring on Friday!
