I have been trying to get in to my post Christmas healthy habits malarkey, but let's face facts it's just not happening... there is still way too much food around - at home and at work :-(
January also brought another reality check - Grammie's gone and Caelan is going to his childminder Monday to Friday 9:00 - 5:00. It hasn't been the easiest transition, but I think we are getting there... I hope might be the better word! We took Caelan twice to try to settle him in before Wednesday. The first day she called to see if we could come back early, he had been crying for a half hour!!! Anyone who knows Caelan, knows this is very out of character for him... we went back and he was so happy to see us! Tuesday was slightly better, but as I left I could hear him crying... I just had to keep going. I am grateful that David drops Caelan off everyday as I really don't think I could do it! Salma sent me this photo on his first day... I think to make me feel better after Monday and Tuesday -
Of course I was like where's his smile? But more positively, he is playing and not crying!! Yay!! So, David drops Caelan off and I get the job of collecting him at the end of the day. So far he has been in good spirits when I've got there and I love the way he crawls so fast to get to me! That boy can move! I am slightly worried that tomorrow will be a bad day after the weekend as he will have to get used to being there all over again, but fingers crossed he'll be fine!
Caelan was 10 months old on Friday!! I took his 10 months photos, but he was being such a little monkey! He nearly ruined the '10' sticker so I didn't tempt fate and take anymore... I got one lying down for his frame so I guess I should be happy with that!
Caelan has been enjoying his new toys. I took a few photos of him with my iPhone that didn't come out so well, but I think they're worth posting! He loves his rocking horse and I think before long he'll have more control and be able to use it a bit more....
| Where's Caelan? lol |
One of his favourite toys is one from the panto - he even fell asleep with it in the car, so sweet!
Well, that's about it! The count down to half term is on....
